Protesting and striking can bring issues to the front.  It is relief valve that allows the people to vent their issues with a governing body or business.

 

Protest and strikes are no longer peaceful when they:
-    Starts fires,
-    Loot stores,
-    Block traffic,
-    Block the movement of citizens,
-    Yell and intimidating at citizens in the street,

-    Shutdown the speech of citizens with a differing opinion,
-    Show up at the private residences of citizens; and,
-    Disrupting the lives of Citizens.

When a protest or strike moves into the points listed above, it changes to criminal action.  Actions such as intimidation and failing to listen to the other side just hurts your cause.  When you back a person in a corner, that person cannot be held responsible if they feel threatened and they defend themselves.
